‘Had General Buhari visited IBB, as did Jonathan, Jonathanistas would have invoked their Gods…against Buhari for visiting the worst man in Nigeria’–Nebukadineze Adiele

New York[RR]Minna–Goodluck Jonathan and former military dictator, Ibrahim Babangida, popularly known as IBB, had closed-door talks in Minna Niger State, last year, 2014, investigations show.

Insider sources disclosed to Republic Reporters that ‘Mr. Jonathan was accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Muhammed, a former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ahmadu Ali…”, it said.

In a piece titled: “Jonathan, in Minna, gets IBB’s support”, by Vanguard, and by another:”Babangida Receives Jonathan, Dasuki, Ali, Peter Obi and others in Minna Today”, said that Jonathan told reporters after the visit that he spoke on issues of national importance.
His words: “First and foremost, I have to use this opportunity to appreciate our leader, President Babangida for his leadership. His commitment to ensuring that this country is united and we leave in peace,” Mr. Jonathan said.
“Of course, you know that this is the end of the year. Within this period, people pay visits. So I have come to visit him. You know he just came back from a hospital abroad, not too long ago. Since he came back, we have not seen. I need to see my father to know how he is feeling. I am quite pleased the way I have seen him.

But the visit didn’t go down well with some APC supporters like Nebukadineze Adiele. Mr. Adiele said, PDP suppporters would have gone wild had Buhari visited IBB the way Jonathan did. “this is hypocrisy by Jonathan supporters”, he warned.

His words:”This is an example of the double standard and hypocrisy of Jonathan supporters that I talk about. There is hardly a Nigerian whose does not know that Babangida ruined Nigeria through kleptomania, incompetence, despotism, and treason. President Jonathan visits the despotic crook and it is heralded by Jonathan’s supporters.

Continuing he added, “But had General Buhari visited IBB, as did Jonathan, Jonathanistas would have invoked their Gods and reported Buhari for visiting the worst man in Nigeria. It would have been evidence that he is unfit to be president.

“Hypocrisy is not admirable at all..’, he added.
