If Buhari’s that good, how come questionable characters like Amaechi, Kwankwaso, El-Rufai, Wamakko, Ahmed and Nyako who left PDP, are hiding under him and he says nothing?–Sule Lamido

New York[RR]Abuja–Jigawa State governor Sule Lamido, yesterday questioned Buhari character and claim of being good but condone questionable characters like discredited G7- governors such as: Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara, Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto, Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers and former Adamawa State Murtala Nyako – formed the new PDP in protest. Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Wamakko, Ahmed and Nyako eventually defected to the APC while Lamido and Aliyu remained in PDP.

His words: “Every Tom, Dick and Harry now hides under Buhari. Politicians with questionable background and criminal past are now hiding under Buhari. These are the same people we fought Buhari together with in 2003, 2007 and 2011. All of a sudden they are now Buhari loyalists. If Buhari is as good as they are saying, why is he condoning these characters?”

Pundits asked Lamido to shut up.

According to Sadiq Danfulani Lamido and family members are thieves, and looters that should hide their faces in shame.

His words: ‘Lamido you were intimidated by Edwin clerk and you chicken out from your presidential aspiration. You were also shaken by the EFCC because of the monumental stealing of the public fund through your children. You were secretly warned to stop accusing the president or else your dirty records will be made public. Your mentor Obasanjo is leading the critics of your tormentor, Good Luck and PDP yet you did mention him among those who betrayed PDP because of your hypocrisy. You are hiding under party loyalty to escape with your loot from EFCC search light. Allah’s EFCC is there waiting. Finally if you can not help change Nigeria for good just keep quite because you have become a disgrace to your generation..”, he said.

S. Maigari: “I concur with this view. In fact, that is why all along we have been saying that there is no fundamental difference between PDP and APC. And with all these ex-PDP characters fully embedded in APC, it has certainly lost even its “progressive” appellation. If the former is corrupt, certainly the latter can’t be any better…”, it said.

Jack: “This man Sule Lamido is confused he and those governors he mentioned protested against the injustice in Pdp and formed npdp the question is that is the injustice in Pdp over if so why was Sule denied the chance to contest the Pdp presidential primary election this mean the problem why Sule and those Governors formed npdp is not solved. Sule still believe that if Jonathan win the next election he will get the Pdp ticket for 2019 this is a terrible dream that will never happen because Sambo will be very popular then.politically Sule should dump Pdp and support the wining team the APP. Buhari is accepted in the North and the South God willing He is UNSTOPPABLE..”, he said.

Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido said yesterday that politicians with questionable background and criminal past are now hiding under the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muhammadu Buhari.

Lamido, who spoke at PDP zonal rally in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State, also accused former members of the group of seven PDP governors (G7) who later started the new PDP that merged with the APC as betrayers.

Daily Trust reports that the G7- governors – Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara, Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto, Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers and former Adamawa State Murtala Nyako – formed the new PDP in protest. Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Wamakko, Ahmed and Nyako eventually defected to the APC while Lamido and Aliyu remained in PDP.

He said: “Every Tom, Dick and Harry now hides under Buhari. Politicians with questionable background and criminal past are now hiding under Buhari. These are the same people we fought Buhari together with in 2003, 2007 and 2011. All of a sudden they are now Buhari loyalists. If Buhari is as good as they are saying, why is he condoning these characters?”
The governor said it was a shame that people who benefited immensely from the PDP have today turned into its worst enemies.
Lamido said: “The new slogan in town now is change; and anybody that mouths that platitude automatically becomes a progressive. People like Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Aliyu Wamakko, Nasir el-Rufa’i, Bello Masari, Sabo Nakudu were all made by the PDP.
“They became what they are today by virtue of PDP, but today they have betrayed the party and they are calling the PDP all sorts of names.”

Lamido told the gathering that these politicians have betrayed the trust of the people and as such they should be disgraced in 2015.
He said in the last eight years, he has fulfilled his electoral promises to the state, adding that he has a worthy successor in the person of Malam Aminu Ringim whom, he describe as a tested and trusted person.
