Update: “Negotiator”: “Northern Politicians Have Been Asking For Ihejirika’s Arrest And The Lone Witness Against Him Are Boko-Haram Members’–Umunnakwe

New York[RR] Abuja–Reacting to call by All Progressive Congress, APC, call for handover of Sheriff, Ihejirika and not former CBN Boss, Sanusi-Lamido-Sanusi, is raising eye brows, Republic Reporters investigations show.

According to respected pundit on everything politics, terrorism, and much more, Umunnakwe, said, this private Negotiator, Stephen Davis, and reports that followed them are nothing but “trash.”

“This report is not correct; the assumption that General Ihejirika is one of the Boko Haram is a joke. This report is a worthless piece of trash; it did not worth the paper it was written on. General Ihejirika is the one that gave Boko Haram ran for their money and since then the northern political establishment has looking for a way to tarnish his image. The northerner politicians have been asking for his arrest and the only witness against him were Boko Haram members. The so called negotiator need his head examine.

General Ihejirika has not invested interest in the Boko Haram Madness; and no one should assume otherwise. Well, Mr. Negotiator we will like to see the evidence not the rubbish BH members feed you. This man called negotiator is playing a very dangerous game and the northern political elites are using him to further their crazy religious dogma.

UPdate: APC: “Don’t Touch Sanusi”, “Hand Over Sheriff, Ihejirika To ICC”–Reports

New York[RR] Abuja–Some critical observers and pundits are indirectly saying, “Don’t touch former CBN Chief, Sanusi-Lamido-Sanusi,but says, “hand over Sheriff, Ihejirika, to ICC, Republic Reporters has learned.

According to All Progressive Congress, APC,the cat has been let off bag. Adding,’Now that the cat has been let out of the bag and the real sponsors of Boko Haram have been exposed, we hope President Jonathan will summon the courage to do the right thing: Hand over the identified Boko Haram sponsors to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation and prosecution,” Oyegun said.

It added, “There is no doubt that Boko Haram has committed crimes against humanity in its scorched-earth campaign against unharmed citizens, and the most appropriate body to investigate and try the sect’s sponsors is the ICC.
“According to Article 17 of the Rome Statute that set up the ICC, and to which Nigeria is signatory, the ICC is a court of last resort, expected to exercise its jurisdiction only if states themselves are unwilling or unable genuinely to investigate and prosecute international crimes,” Mr. Oyegun said.

An Australian negotiator, Stephen Davis, appointed by the Nigerian government to help rescue more than 200 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram, has accused the former army chief and former governor as the major sponsors of the deadly sect.
Messrs Sheriff and Ihejirika have denied the allegation.

But discredited Stephen Davis, also said, that top CBN, Boss,(name withheld, Sanusi) official is a boko haram sponsor.

Curiously, though, All Progressives Congress (APC), has demanded the immediate trial, by the International Criminal Court, of two former Nigerian officials named by a government-appointed negotiator as the sponsors of Islamist group, Boko Haram, but ignored top CBN Chief, which now, discredited Private Negotiator,Davis mentioned. Observers say all “finger points at former CBN Governor, Sanusi-Lamido-Sanusi,”, which, APC, spokesman, Rotimi Fashakin, and others refused to touch, saying, “Don’t touch Sanusi, because the private Negotiator, Davis didn’t particularly mention his name, but said, only that CBN-top official is a Boko-Haram sponsor,Republic Reporters gathered.

At a press conference Tuesday, the APC called on President Goodluck Jonathan to hand over former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, and former Chief of Army Staff, Azubuike Ihejirika, to the International Criminal Court, ICC, to face trial over their alleged sponsorship of the group.

WS, said, “Folks,I support this call. The sooner Nigeria hands over these guys to ICC the quicker the truth will come out. Ihejirika started singing like a drunk canary the other day but there is more on that song. The high notes of that song has not been hit. Ihejirika has more to that song and I want to hear it all. These criminals should be arraigned promptly.

Rotimi Fashakin, bellowed, “Ogbeni Ejo:This is the first time you made sense to me, i mean ever! I tried to understand why… You seem to have extricated yourself from the garb of bigoted delusion in ethnocentrism. I really thank God for taking charge of your life.

“Ordinarily, Prez would not have removed Ihejirika IF there was nothing that really made his continued shielding ridiculous, as was the case with Stella Oduah! The appointment of a replacement had to come with some costs to the Nigerian Army!
The presidency’s silence here should worry your mind. Is this the time to keep mum? Certainly not!
Brother, you need to smell the coffee; there is a huge allegation hanging on the neck of the former Military chief and the government of Dr. Jonathan knows it. Now to your assertion/ question:

He added, “The more bomb blast, the more the government of Dr. Jonathan pushes the narrative: see, it is the Northern politicians that have sworn to make the country ungovernable! The statistics are staggering. The insecurity ensured the injection of more money. And more money only bred more insecurity, which meant more injection of money. The other day, Dr. Jonathan was cajoling the NASS to approve additional $1Billion after the appropriation of about $7Billion to fight insecurity. The Stats showed that before the declaration of state of emergency, just a little of 700 fatalities were recorded. But after the declaration of emergency in September 2013 to date, over 2200 fatalities had been recorded.

“Insecurity had become profitable for the government and the Military! There seemed to be a symbiotic understanding between the ruling Political class and the Military. Let us look at Ihejirika one more time. He was retired in 2014. What we are being told is that he is contesting for Abia governorship, ostensibly on the platform of PDP. When did he join the PDP? When he was retired in January 2014 or before? But there is a rule in PDP that you do not expect to contest for elective position until after two years of your membership. Is he expecting to be given waiver? why? For a meritorious service for PDP government in the past? Is he afraid of prosecution, hence the rushed desire to be governor so as to enjoy immunity?

“What, for me, is most discomforting is the silence of the presidency. Is the Presidency afraid of Ihejirika not spilling the beans? Or the Presidency afraid of Stephen Davis not revealing more of the sordidness? The President cannot treat this matter in the usual ‘family’ affair; Nigerians have been traumatized in the last four years. The decimation of the population and the total extirpation of whole communities should speak to our common humanity. The IRREDUCIBLE minimum expected from the government of President Jonathan is the prosecution of the alleged sponsors of this inbred monstrosity!

The National Chairman of APC, John Oyegun, who spoke at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, said his party expects the president to “summon courage” and “do the right thing”.
“Now that the cat has been let out of the bag and the real sponsors of Boko Haram have been exposed, we hope President Jonathan will summon the courage to do the right thing: Hand over the identified Boko Haram sponsors to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation and prosecution,” Oyegun said.

Messrs Sheriff and Ihejirika have denied the allegation.

But Gregg Ukaegbu, said, that if Boko Haram is not defeated in two years, you can kiss North-East good bye.

He said, “If the Nigerian government does not completely defeat Boko Haram in the next 2 years, it will not be able to defeat Boko Haram again. From this point, for every year Boko Haram remains in existence, it gains an exponential number of converts, soldiers, sympathizers, financiers, etc, Boko Haram can successfully replicate what ISIS is doing in Syria and Iraq, in NE Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroun. As Boko Haram gains soldiers and sympathizers in Nigeria, it gains even more in Chad and Cameroun, and as far away as Somalia. So, get ready to kiss Northern Nigeria goodbye because the Nigerian Army will not fight for it. They capitulate, surrender, turn-tail, and run away. Who thinks it won’t play out like I said? Say why not, and what new Nigeria will try to prevent Boko Haram from capturing half of Northern Nigeria in 2 years. Nigeria has no army as is now obvious, so who will defend Nigeria? Everyman for himself, it seems.
